Mikri Vigla
Take a look on the map! First by noticing Mikri Vigla its on the center of the west coast of the island. Then by taking a closer look you notice you are in a walking distance of 5-7 minutes from two of the best beaches of the island (the north one perfect for kite-surfing). You want to go further? By car you can reach other 3 famous beaches from 7 to 15 minutes (Aliko-Hawaii, Plaka, Prokopios). And when the sun goes down, you are in Naxos town (also port and airpot) in 15 minutes or to the first Villages (Vivlos, Sangri, with easier access using a ring road).
You are in a calm place even in the full season. There is plenty of space on the beaches, nice taverns, souvlaki place, bar-cafes in short walking distance (4-7 min), less traffic and easier to park.
All in all, in my opinion it’s still a pure island holiday place, at all the seasons, and can cover the needs of all the vacation styles you like. See you there!
